Tindall’s Utility Division Produces Precast Infrastructure for Topgolf Complexes
Tindall Corporation’s Utility Division provided precast concrete products for two new Topgolf facilities located in Greenville, South Carolina, and Richmond, Virginia.
“Tindall’s role in the development of up-and-coming attractions such as Topgolf has been both exciting and challenging,” said Joel Sheets, Vice President and General Manager of Tindall Utility. “Our team possesses the skills to produce the most high-performance products, ensuring these complexes are among the best in their respective communities.”
Tindall provided a variety of precast pieces for both Topgolf locations. In Greenville, the team manufactured and delivered 80 storm drain structures, 2,000-gallon grease traps for the in-house restaurant, 15 sewer manholes and the target vaults to catch the golf balls.
For Topgolf’s new Richmond location, the Tindall team produced 15 storm drainage structures and three stormwater pump stations to address flooding, and excess water in and around the golf ball pits. Tindall also designed a 20-foot-deep, 10-by-12 pump station.
All products for the Topgolf locations were manufactured in a controlled environment at Tindall’s Spartanburg facility, resulting in more durable pieces designed for maintenance-free performance.
Tindall’s Utility Division provided the innovative precast solutions necessary for outdoor environments and challenging site requirements. The team partnered with Martin Brothers Construction, Arco/Murray Design Build and Seamon Whiteside to develop Topgolf Greenville as well as Phillips Construction, the Timmons Group and ARCO/Murray for the Richmond facility.
The Greenville location is currently open to the public and the Richmond Topgolf will open in the coming months.
