Lack of Construction Labor Impacts Projects in the Carolinas

Construction job openings reached the highest level since 2022 according to ABC Economist Anirban Basu. “Contractors are facing severe labor shortages in regions that are home to industrial megaprojects,” said Basu. “Projects in Arizona and South Carolina, have paused in recent months due to an inability to find enough skilled workers.” Read more.
