by GroundBreak Carolinas Staff on October 17, 2017

TPM, Inc., a leading 2D and 3D design technology provider, announced a new partnership with Autodesk Netfabb additive manufacturing and design software. TPM will begin providing these innovative software tools and associated services to streamline additive manufacturing workflows and quickly get from 3D models to successfully 3D printed parts.

“By partnering with Autodesk Netfabb, TPM will provide our customers with access to the most robust additive manufacturing software solution in the marketplace,” said Chris Fay, Vice President of TPM. “By combining a first-class additive manufacturing software solution with our best in class 3D printing hardware portfolio, we will help our customers unlock the full potential of 3D printing.”

TPM is the first Autodesk partner in North America to help launch this new product line up. Autodesk’s Netfabb software suite consists of the following solutions:

– Netfabb Standard

Allows for a streamlined process of importing files from leading CAD software, preparing and modifying files for additive manufacturing, and automating the analysis and file repair process.

– Netfabb Premium

Building on the platform of Netfabb Standard, Netfabb Premium allows for fully configurable build supports, solid modeling tools for near net shape planning, and 3D metal printing process simulation.

– Netfabb Ultimate

The most powerful design for additive manufacturing software tool in the marketplace, Netfabb Ultimate combines the Standard and Premium packages with full topology optimization capabilities, additive manufacturing design optimizations and process specific simulation workflows that help predict deformation and build failures of 3D printed parts.

TPM, Inc. is headquartered in Greenville, SC with offices in Columbia, SC, Charleston, SC, Charlotte, NC, Raleigh-Durham, NC and Alpharetta, GA. TPM is the Southeast’s leading provider of 2D and 3D design technology alongside partners that include MarkForged, Autodesk, SOLIDWORKS, HP, Canon, Océ, and many more.
