United Minority Contractors (UMCNC) of North Carolina Shares Vision for 2019 at Inaugural Partners Breakfast
United Minority Contractors of North Carolina (UMCNC) hosted its first Partners Breakfast on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the Doubletree Suites by Hilton at Research Triangle Park. Partners Breakfast is designed to celebrate UMCNC’s partnership with members, sponsors, public agencies, business and community leaders, as well as other non-profit organizations. At the event, UMCNC kicked off its 2019 membership and fundraising campaign, introduced the 2019 calendar, and solicited feedback from attendees on how to best collaborate on priorities.
The inaugural Partners Breakfast was well received by those in attendance. Attendee Marva York felt compelled to send a laudatory note to UMCNC Chair Patrice Gilmore, writing “Congratulations on a WONDERFUL program! I cannot stop bragging about how energized I felt starting my day off yesterday with the breakfast meeting of the United Minority Contractors of North Carolina. I was impressed with your members, advisors and partners — but, most of all, I was amazed at the activities, partnerships, collaborations, sponsorships and plans to move forward an agenda to help secure the success of minority contractors in the state.”
