WH Hobbs Plumbing Acquired by Roby

The Roby Family of Companies announced that they have acquired WH Hobbs Plumbing of Charlotte.  The sale was completed on Friday, Aug. 4, 2017.

“We have been doing business with WH Hobbs for three generations, so we have worked alongside with their crews on many projects,” said Trent Haston, President and CEO of the Roby Family of Companies. “So when we learned Ernie Tucker the owner was looking to retire and sell we knew this would be a good fit for us. Plumbing is a service we were planning to add to the group and to be able to fulfill that with a quality company that has an outstanding reputation and our same commitment to exceptional service is really exciting.”

WH Hobbs plumbing has operating as plumbing company in Charlotte since 1920. Hobbs offers a complete range of plumbing services from simple system repairs and maintenance to complete system installs, water heater repairs/installation and water filtration systems for residential and commercial properties. All technicians are certified, licensed and insured in all areas of plumbing.

The Roby Family of Companies have offices in Boone, Charlotte, Greensboro and Raleigh.
