4th Annual Chix Dig It – Celebrating Women in Construction Luncheon Set for June 20

GroundBreak Carolinas is pleased to once again be the media partner for the annual Chix Dig It — Celebrating Women in Construction luncheon. Now in its fourth year, this year’s Chix Dig It luncheon is scheduled for Thursday, June 20, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The 2019 venue for this must-attend event is Prestonwood Country Club in Cary, N.C.

Chix Dig It founder Patricia Lucas Smith, President of Raleigh-based Serving 4 Success, announced this week that Adrienne Cole, President and CEO of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, will be serving as the 2019 MC and panel moderator. The Raleigh Chamber is the Triangle’s largest non-profit business membership organization representing two-thirds of the private sector employment in Wake County. A graduate of Meredith College, Cole received a master’s degree in public administration from Appalachian State University.

Chix Dig It exists to attract the best and brightest women to the architectural, design and construction field. The annual Chix Dig It fundraiser provides scholarships to young women who are pursuing a career in AEC.
