Don Warren Elected to Inaugural Class of the Design-Build Institute of America’s College of Fellows
Columbia, South Carolina —McCrory Construction Executive Vice President Donald G. Warren, who leads the company’s full-service office in Greenville (S.C.), has been inducted into the Design-Build Institute of America’s (DBIA) 2018 Inaugural Class of DBIA Certified Fellows. Warren is the only nominee from the Carolinas to be elected to this prestigious Fellowship.
DBIA Fellow status is limited to two percent of Designated Design-Build Professionals who are elected to Fellowship by a jury of their peers. Warren was honored as DBIA Fellow on Thursday, November 8 during the 2018 Design-Build Conference & Expo in New Orleans.
Warren is well-known as a design-build expert across the Southeast and beyond. He was the first in the Carolinas – and among the first in the nation – to become certified as a Designated Design-Build Professional when the DBIA credential was introduced in 2002. Design-build teams under his leadership have delivered hundreds of successful projects in a wide range of industries. One of the original five founding fathers of DBIA 25 years ago, Warren was an early DBIA board member and served as Chairman in 1998.
“DBIA Fellow status recognizes the achievements of our most accomplished Designated Design‐Build Professionals,” said Keith R.
