She Built This City Pre-Apprenticeship Plumbing Program for Women: Summer Session Starts July 6

She Built This City (“SBTC”) is a Charlotte-based non-profit focused on introducing women and young girls from diverse backgrounds to the skilled trades. SBTC is excited to announce its 15-week Pre-Apprenticeship Plumbing Program, developed in partnership with Moen, Three Way Plumbing and Lowe’s.

The Summer session starts on July 6, 2021, with the Fall session kicking off October 12, 2021. A certificate of completion will be provided to participants.

The all women, 15-week, hands-on learning event will be hosted at She Built this City’s Innovation Alley workshop in West Charlotte. In addition to hands-on instruction from industry veterans, site visits and guest speakers, all training participants will receive a weekly travel stipend, school-age child supervision, and job placement support.
