McCrory Construction’s Tony Warren, DBIA, Earns National Design-Build Certification
Tony Warren, DBIA, Design-Build Preconstruction Director for McCrory Construction, has earned the prestigious designation of Designated Design-Build Professional® (DBIA®). This sought-after construction industry credential requires successful completion of the Design-Build Institute of America’s comprehensive “gold standard” education, training and certification testing program, including a rigorous exam. Substantial, documented project experience in design-build project delivery is a prerequisite.
Much of Warren’s focus over his 40-plus-year construction career – the past seven with McCrory – has been on design-build delivery of sizable industrial and commercial projects, both new buildings and facility upgrades. His well-rounded career includes serving in senior-level project management and preconstruction roles. He is a graduate of NC State University.
According to the Design-Build Institute of America, DBIA certification provides the only measurable standard to evaluate a professional’s understanding of Design-Build Done Right® – key best practices proven to help clients deliver projects on time and successfully.
